This is a links style course operated by the city of Honolulu. Built in 1931, this is the first municipal course on the islands. The course plays host to nearly 180,000 rounds per year, making it one the world's busiest golf courses. This Honolulu golf course is a par-70, measuring 6,208 from the back tees. Green fees are a bargain at $20-$40.
Coral Creek Golf Course

This is a four-star course about 15 miles from downtown Honolulu. A Robin Nelson design, the course opened to the public in 1999. Scenic and challenging are the two words most used to describe this course. Bunkers are prominent, and the greens are tiered. Green fees run from $50-$125.
Hawaii Kai Golf Course

Boasting some of the largest greens in the state, this Honolulu golf course also sees quite a bit of traffic. The championship course measures 6,614 from the tips and features views of Koko Head Crater and the turquoise Pacific Ocean. The complex also has a 9-hole executive course and a driving range. Green fees for the championship course are tourist-pricey: $80-$100.

This military and public course received a Golf Digest four-star rating in 2002. This Honolulu golf course features the toughest greens on the Hawaiian Islands, and a flat, tree lined terrain. Wind can play a major factor in the difficulty of this William Bell course. It measures 6,771 yards from the tips. Green fees are discounted for military personal, and run the general public around $40 per play.

Completely private, this exclusive course is arguably Hawaii's most prized golf possession.
